Nordi Medical
High-quality, clinical-grade medical dressings, protective gear, and essential components engineered for critical care units, operating theaters, and therapeutic rehabilitation worldwide.
In modern emergency medicine, critical care, and general anesthesia, the Endotracheal Tube (ETT) is the foundational bridge for patient ventilation. As a leading medical device designer and exporter, Hangzhou Nordi Medical recognizes that clinical success depends entirely on product integrity. Any structural failure, cuff leak, or material biocompatibility issue can lead to catastrophic ventilator-associated complications, tracheal necrosis, or airway trauma.
Our OEM/ODM solutions focus on key innovations in materials science: shifting from traditional high-phthalate plasticizers to advanced DEHP-free PVC, polyurethane (PU), and medical-grade platinum-cured silicone. By combining these biomaterials with high-volume, low-pressure (HVLP) cuff profiles, we reduce tracheal wall pressure, helping healthcare providers worldwide improve clinical outcomes and maintain patient comfort.
Through decades of engineering and scientific innovation, we have transformed our standard medical manufacturing facility into a high-capacity OEM/ODM hub serving over 50 global regions.
Engineered to comply with ISO 5361 standards, offering anatomical curvature, clear graduation markings, and reliable cuff sealing interfaces.

From conceptual material engineering and rapid prototyping to regulatory clearance and scalable manufacturing in Class 100,000 cleanrooms.
Collaborative definition of mechanical parameters, including Shore A hardness, raw material selection (PVC/Silicone), and specific clinical indicators (MRI compatibility, subglottic suctioning pathways).
Utilizing high-precision extrusion systems, we achieve precise wall thickness, concentricity, and control. In-house mold design enables micro-thin cuff fabrication down to 7 micrometers.
High-contrast, non-toxic ink printing of graduation marks, insertion depth rings, and client logo. Murphy eyes are precision-punched and heat-polished to prevent soft-tissue lacerations during intubation.
Every single tube undergoes automated leak detection and tensile tests of the pilot balloon line. Products undergo Ethylene Oxide (EO) sterilization followed by gas residue extraction to meet ISO 10993 requirements.

Why hospital networks, GPOs, and industrial medical distributors trust Hangzhou Nordi Medical as their core production partner.
Located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, we leverage one of the world's most advanced chemical synthesis and medical-grade plastics supply chains. Our proximity to major shipping ports (Ningbo and Shanghai) ensures uninterrupted logistics and fast shipping times for export containers.
We supply complete documentation packages to facilitate local customs registration, including Technical Documentation files, biological assessment reports under ISO 10993, Stability Testing analysis, and sterile barrier validation data.
By using automated manufacturing technologies (such as automated eye punching, cuff blowing, and laser-assisted tube shaping), we lower production costs while maintaining strict consistency across high-volume production runs.
Critical queries addressed by our technical engineering and regulatory compliance department.
We use medical-grade, thermosensitive, DEHP-free PVC, as well as optional high-tensile medical silicone. All materials undergo testing according to ISO 10993 (Biocompatibility Evaluation of Medical Devices), which includes cytotoxicity, sensitization, intracutaneous reactivity, and systemic toxicity testing to guarantee patient safety.
Our HVLP cuffs are engineered to distribute sealing pressure evenly across a wider mucosal surface area. By keeping cuff pressures between 20-30 cmH2O, they maintain a reliable seal against aspiration while preventing excessive pressure on the mucosal capillary blood flow, which can cause tracheal wall irritation or ischemia.
We offer customization across several design options: 1) Shaft profiles, including standard, preformed RAE, or wire-reinforced configurations. 2) Specialized cuffs, such as micro-thin polyurethane (7-10µm) or silicone. 3) Custom printing, including logo placement, graduation markings, and specific placement guides. 4) Packaging configurations, including customized blister packs, patient labeling, and bulk industrial packaging.
Our reinforced (armored) ETTs feature a high-tensile stainless steel wire coil embedded within the biocompatible PVC tube wall. This internal coil provides support that prevents lumen occlusion even during head and neck surgeries or when the patient is in the prone position.
All sterile products undergo Ethylene Oxide (EO) sterilization according to the ISO 11135 standard. Following sterilization, our products undergo a controlled aeration process to lower EO residues to levels well below the limits specified in ISO 10993-7.
We maintain a certified quality system under EN ISO 13485:2016. Our product range is backed by MDR CE certification for European distribution, as well as FDA-compliant records for selected wound care and protection components. We also provide documentation to support SFDA and MDMA clearance in the Middle East and Latin America.
The Murphy Eye is an alternative air passage located near the tube tip. If the main bevel tip becomes occluded by the tracheal wall, the Murphy Eye allows ventilation to continue. In production, we punch and polish this eye to ensure smooth edges, reducing the risk of mucosal tissue injury during insertion.
MOQs vary depending on the customization requested. Standard dimensions with custom packaging labels typically require 10,000 units per size, while custom extrusion geometries requiring new tooling designs may need higher initial runs. We offer flexible terms for long-term contract supply agreements.
