  • Clean and dry the wound area before application.
  • Dressing should be 2cm larger than the wound area for proper adhesion.
  • For wounds deeper than 5mm, fill with proper dressing before using hydrocolloid.
  • Not suitable for wounds with heavy exudates.
  • Change the dressing when it becomes white and expanded.
  • Initial wound enlargement may occur due to debridement; this is normal.
  • The mixture of molecules and exudates forms a gel that may look like pus; clean with saline.
  • Potential mild odor will disappear after saline cleaning.
  • Change immediately if leakage occurs around the edges.
