🔍 Product Description

Description of silicone wound dressing:

Silicone foam dressing is an absorbent, atraumatic dressing made from an absorbent core and silicone gel. The wound contact surface is coated with a layer of soft silicone gel that does not stick to the surface of a wound or cause trauma to delicate new tissue upon removal. The outer surface is bonded to a vapor-permeable polyurethane membrane, acting as a barrier to liquids and microorganisms.

The core can lock exudate into the product, preventing the wound bed from drying out and the surrounding skin from becoming macerated.

🛠️ Method of Use
  • Ensure the wound area is clean and dry before applying the dressing.
  • Select a dressing that overlaps the wound margin by at least two centimeters.
  • Remove the release film and adhere the dressing to the wound area.
  • Dressing can be left in place for up to 7 days depending on exudate levels.
