Silicone foam dressing is designed for a wide range of exuding wounds. It is a flexible, multi-layered foam dressing with a gentle silicone adhesive layer. The soft silicone layer adheres readily to intact dry skin but does not stick to the surface of a moist wound and does not cause damage upon removal, minimizing trauma to the wound and reducing pain during dressing changes.
The Sacrum Silicone Foam Dressing has a unique tail designed specifically for wounds in the sacral area and fits around the cleft, helping to overcome common problems such as dressing tenting.
