FDA CE Approved Silicone Foam Dressing with Border Self-Adhesive Silicone Foam Wound Bandage for Wound

Silicone foam dressing is an absorbent, atraumatic dressing made from an absorbent core and silicone gel. The wound contact surface is coated with a layer of soft silicone gel that does not stick to the surface of a wound or cause trauma to delicate new tissue upon removal.

The silicone foam dressing includes two types: with border and without border. The absorbent core of the non-bordered version is polyurethane foam, while the bordered version consists of polyurethane foam, nonwoven fabric, and superabsorbent fibres. The core locks exudate into the product, preventing wound bed dryness and surrounding skin maceration.

Method of Use:

• Ensure the wound area is clean and dry before application.
• Select a dressing that overlaps the wound margin by at least two centimeters.
• Remove the release film and adhere the dressing to the wound area.
• Dressing without border may be cut to size before removal of the protective film and held with a bandage.

Frequency of Change:

The interval between changes is determined by the degree of exudate. The dressing may be left for up to 7 days, or changed as good wound care practice dictates.

Storage & Notice:

• Disposable product; do not reuse. Do not use if the pack is broken.
• Use within the validity period and read instructions carefully.
• Change if the back begins to discolor or deform.
• Store in a cool, well-ventilated, clean room at room temperature, free from corrosive gas.
