Product Description
Cetyl stearol (Cetearyl Alcohol) is a white solid crystal, granular or waxy substance with a pleasant fragrance. It has a chemical formula of C18H37OH. With a melting point of 48-50ºC and boiling point of 344ºC, it is insoluble in water but soluble in ethanol, ether, chloroform, and mineral oil.
It functions efficiently as a stabilizer for cosmetic emulsions, reducing the viscosity of wax raw materials and inhibiting greasy feelings in topical applications.
